First three travel bugs were placed in nearby caches in Shropshire, England in a race to clock up the most miles before 1st June 2009 - that was won by JadedBlue. The second race starting 1st June 2010 is to get within 15 miles of one of the JadedWords owners.
Three travel bugs released on the 1st June 2008 have been travelling around Europe. Now their task is to get within 15 miles of one of the JadedWords owners.
Rules: Distance is measured when travel bug is placed and location of the JadedWords owners at that moment. As a hint one of the owners lives 161 miles North-Nor-East of the others - but everyone travels!
Each bug has a USB flash memory drive attached and we invite you to load it with a message, image, audio-clip, or video-clip about your find, the area in which you found it, the area in which you leave it or anything else. If the drive is getting full or you have the time, then we would appreciate you emailing then deleting the contents to our email address as shown below - please tell us which bug it is and/or your GeoCaching username so we can trace it.
Within the UK distance is measured using the nearest postcode from http://www.nearby.org.uk and then measuring distance as the crow flies using http://www.freemaptools.com/how-far-is-it-between.htm For outside the UK measurement is taken from the Geocache website unless of course the owner and the bug are close to each other!
